Hi, im working on changing the driver side door handle on my 97line contour se. I have followed all instructions according to the bathes manual to remove it, but neither the handle assembly nor bezel will budge. Any hints?

Also, the two bolts holding the assembly on sheared off during removal. Anyone else have that happen?

Those should be nuts and the studs are on the handle bezel. It should pull out and unhook the linkage.
