98 contour

hey, I have a 1998 ford contour, with the dura tec v6 and a 5speed tranny. At constant speed (say 55mph) it feels a bit like the clutch is slipping or that there is a miss fire. I sea foamed the car and it did not smoke at all. Which is weird because with sea foam it should be crazy smokey. This is the second clutch for this car, and it now has 183,xxx miles on it, we are the original owner. I was thinking to get a new clutch or sell the car, but is there a market for these, being so old? (this is NOT A FEELER THREAD!!!!)

So should I replace the car, replace the clutch, or could my power uneven-ness be due to someother cause?

Also is a v6 contour sport with a 5-speed rare in the states , I don't think I have ever seen another.
