98' Contour Starting Problem.
Hello, I have recently purchased a 98' Ford Contour, its a 2.5L V6 SE. (Very nice car by the way, love the handeling and power.) It just had its first problem, (Not counting the check engine light comming on, thanks to the crappy gas cap*Fixed for like $5*). Well Out of nowhere, it had some trouble starting, It's deffinetly not the battery, because its been checked. It acts like it wants to start, sounding one step from starting, *chug-chug-Vroom*(The sound of when it normally starts) Well... It took about eight 'chugs' last time, and now it only chugs... Heh. If you catch my drift, My father had a 95' V6 contour and said it is likely the Fuel Pump or something like it... Any advice? (I've checked the fuel-shut off switch, because I heard that it can be tripped occassionally.
