quick question i had my check engine light checked and it said that i had rich fuel if my o2 sensor is bad or going bad would that cause my car too stall about 10 time per day and when it does stall i smell fuel but only when it stalls any other time it's fine please help if possible
If the car is running too rich it will choke itself and stall . You will have to check for the cause of the rich mixture and rectify it before further faults develop .
What year and engine is it? The O2 sensor wouldn't be intermittant. Check for poor wire connections, vacuum hose problems. etc. Also clean the MAF with MAF cleaner.
it's a 99 2.0 157k miles runs great until i'm stopped then it wants too stall and sometimes before it stalls it acts like it wants too go even while my foot is on the break after it does that it also stalls
