Question Air intake system???

Hi guys,
I live in Brissie (qld, australia), And was wondering if anyone new where i could get an air intake system hooked up to my car? Not alot of places know much about mondeo's, so it gets bit hard to get a decent price.....
Can any help me out?
Or can any rig one up?

Re: Air intake system???

Here's a pic I got off some blokes site, sumthing along these lines (but Blue).

I have no problem buying a filter, i'm pretty much after the pipe and air senser connections.

Re: Air intake system???

I thought of something more useful.

Join (for free)

www.fordmondeo.org

and go to the international section. There's quite a few guys in Aust with mondeo's that look here fairly regularly. They'll prob be able to give you a hand.

There's one guy by the username of mondeost24 that has done a fair bit to his V6 (ST24) - intake, exhaust, suspension, brakepads etc.. Check out

That's a bit more useful!

Re: Air intake system???

well, if you wanted to get manderal bent piping made for you, you could do to Lee's Exhaust's at Slacks Creek, Moss St.

I would take in a picture of what you after and they should be able to give you an idea as to how much it would cost.

Also, you could get another price from Rite Price Exhaust, its on Moss St too.

I think it would be pretty hard to find pre-made piping to suit your car. The red bits of rubber piping i have seen a AutoBarn, its about $20.
