I am about to tackle changing the spark plugs on my 2000 Mystique. I know that I have to take off the manifold cover to do so. I need to know how involved this process is and what else to expect. I have swapped plugs on my New Beetle, and my sentra but never this car. Just don't want any unexpected surprises - as if there are any EXPECTED surprises!
Not hard at all to do. The main thing that needs to be removed it the black plastic cover on the front side of the motor. (I.E. mine says Duratec 2.5L V6) I believe that there are three bolts that hold that in place.
The rears are easy to get to. I just use an extension and a swivel to get to those. Just take your time and do one at a time and you should have no problems.
