I'm trying to remove the fuel pump from my 2000 Contour SVT, and the fuel line connection at the top of the pump is kicking my butt. No help yet from the folks at Contour.org (but hey, it's Saturday afternoon).
Anyone know how to disconnect the fuel line? The posted instructions say "squeeze the tabs and pull firmly on the fuel line." I have squeezed, pulled, and pried, all with no effect.

Not really sure what you need but most fuel lines take a small plastic tool to remove. It's like a tube that is cut on 1 side and slips over the line and up into the fitting. A whole set is only a few bucks at autozone.
