Gandalf Registered User Join Date: Apr 2007 Posts: 2	EGR valve Hi All, Have any of you cleaned the EGR valve. My brother has the diesel Duratorq that ticks over quite lumpy. I have a ZT diesel and it is a very common fault for the EGR valve to get really really clogged up with carbon. I think most people off the MG forum with a diesel have cleaned this valve (takes a while as you have to scrape it out) then disconnected the vacum hose. I have also done this to mine and noticed a big difference. Has anyone done this to their mondeo? Ta Gandalf
