Contoured Registered User Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 2	Engine sounds like dying cat... I have a 1998 Ford Contour - a couple of days ago I noticed that my engine sounded like a dying cat when I would start it. After it runs for a bit the noise seems to go away. I just replaced the belt and flushed my radiator, but the noise is still there. Any thoughts? Has this happened to anyone else? PS - it's not a dying cat, I checked.
