1998 Contour 2.0l zetec.

She's been slowly leaking coolant from an unknown area in front of the engine. Until last week...

Now she's REALLY leaking coolant from the mid, to passenger side, front of the egine. Makes me think water pump because the puddle is almost right below the timing belt. But the puddle is so big now it's hard to tell.

I thought it was from the coolant line that goes into the block, behind the exhaust manifold, but the puddle didnt start in the middle of my parking space.

Anyone have insight on what is on the "timing" side of the motor that would leak coolant?

Sounds like you could be correct with water pump , a pressure test on cooling system should show for certain .
