johnschutt Registered User Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 1	How can I identify a Contour Zetec 2.0L engine? Hello, I'm trying to help a friend's son. He fried his engine. I bought a used one, but it doesn't match. How can I ID an engine? Can I tell from the block? The new engine says 18HG94 on it. It also says RF948M6015R69. The sticker on the valve cover says "F5, 020069505, 4G-776-BA, 08/31/94 CHEP" Does anyone know what any of these numbers mean? My friend's son's car says (hard to read) 05H9? on the block and the valve cover sticker says "B7, 153526702, 7G-766-AAA, 08/21/97 CHEP" Does anyone know what these numbers mean? THANKS! John
