whilst driving my 98 mondeon 1.8 i noticed steam coming through front grill, rad not over heated but when i looked in i could see a small fine jet of water spurting out.
i have refilled the water and no further leaks, no oil in water, no coolant in water.
any ideas?

Hi
Sounds like your radiator has a punctured core. It'll probably only leak under pressure and that's why you didn't see it when you refilled the coolant tank. You'll see it again if you pressure-test the cooling system or if you leave the engine running until it gets to normal operating temp.
