Hi - would anyone know if the handbrake can be adjusted from inside the car as opposed to down at the rear wheels. The brake travel is too high and barely operates the brakes, which is a problem as the car is a standard transmission and I live in a mountainous area. I appreciate your advice and expertise, Cheers, Roy.

It's supposed to adjust by operating it over and over several times.

Thanks for the advice - I will crank the handbrake repeatedly and see if it tightens up - the car was off the road for some time so it may be rusty - thanks again!
