confused mondeo headlights

Hi, Has anyone replaced the inner lenses on a mk1 mondeo? nobody replied to my previous post.
I can see four metal clips holding the headlight together, are there more that need to be removed? i've read somewhere that both lenses can be replaced in half an hour, so if anyone has any info on this, i'd really appreciate the help.

Re: mondeo headlights

Hi TJ

Don't know if you ever got this sorted, but you will need to take the light off the car to do it. Unfortunately this involves releasing the front bumper to get to the bolts and clips behind the bumper. Isn't a big job, did it recently on my wifes Mk1, as you have heard takes about 1/2 hr, biggest part being loosening the bumper! PLease beware though not to snap the actual headlight glass.

Cheers

Hi all, finally had the time to change the inner lenses, I can confirm that you CAN do this without removing the headlamps.

It took around half an hour, and was a little fiddly but worth it!
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to reply, a special mention goes to Boodek for finding the Thread for me!

I knew that I had read it before, but had no idea where!
