After removing and then refitting the battery on my 94 mondeo estate the alarm and engine immobiliser will not reset and remain on after using the keys in either front door . Their is no pats system and no remote/chipped key and the system has never given me any problems before,. (The radio cd and clock all reset correctly) any clues ??? thanks

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the alarm module, it's in the drivers footwell.

I had same problem. I followed the instructions here by disconnecting the module in driver foot well and it worked a treat. I didn't reconnect the alarm module in case it goes wrong again. No alarm? No Problem! Thank you!
