Mondeo Revs go up and back down before Speed increases
Hi, I have a mondeo glx 2.0 Petrol (1999)
When increasing speed revs go up by about (500) before increase in speed
then revs drop down again.
I though maybe clutch, but car pulls in first with handbrake on (clutch doesnt seem to be slipping) tried changing air flow meter with another no difference

It sounds like your clutch is slipping. The clutch wont slip as much in first as it doesn't work as hard in the lower gears. Try taking off in 4th with the handbrake pulled on . If the car moves or stalls your clutch is ok if your engine runs with your foot off the clutch then you need a new clutch.
