How many of you guy's would like to see the Cosworth name brought back on a mid sized Ford?

From what I have heard the Cosworth name will be put on a Mondeo.
The car is likely to have AWD and a cosworth enhanced 3L V6 engine with a power output over 300bhp. :s6:

Im all in favor of small to mid sized cars brought to a higher level of popularity. A good fuel efficient car would get my vote! :s5

That would haul some arse as long as it is derived from the BTCC mondeo with a nice kit and exceptional brakes and finess. Would still rather see the Coswrth Focus but if thats the go with mondeo I don't think It would do Europeans Fords line up any harm. How much does the mondeo weigh? Coz if it's light it might be a car that can take it right upto other 4 door sedans as m5, sti and the evolution series lancers.

That's nice that Ford may come out with another 'wonderfull' lump that most of us can't maintain much less improve AND will have to mortgage our lives for. The cars from the 70's onward can't be maintained or restored AND are over the heads of most of us. You can't buy parts for them any more either. I know better than to dump tens of thousands of dollars (after payments) into something that I will be unable to buy parts for in ten years, how about you? Put a blower on your Pinto/Capri/Falcon/Cortina/Anglia/Escort/Maverick etc.

You can drop a 3.0 duratec into a mondeo as it is, throw a blower on it, or vortech supercharger, viola, major power!
Nice idea on the Mondeo Cosworth, but I dont think it's ever gonna happen (which is a sad thing)

because ford want to promote the focus.
We should be getting the ST220 next year, and maybe the ST250.

What is the ST250.That sounds interesting.I still hope Cosworth does tickle the Mondeo at some stage as the Cosworth Sierra still leaves me with very fond memories.

IIRC the ST250 is going to be based on the 3.0 Duratec engine which they guys have stateside already, they are dropping them into their contours to haul some major ass!
