mondeo td exsessive blue smoke under boost

1997 mondeo td under boost on light or full throttle im getting exsessive smoke ! not clouds of white smoke like a blown turbo it feels like its over fueling ! it seems to be more responsive under a lighter load than full and if driven off boost ( like a vicar ) no smoke ! any ideas ????

Could be the 'light laden' valve, it's on the front of the pump and should give a clicking noise with ignition first turned on and engine off.

Re: mondeo td exsessive blue smoke under boost

its clicking away like a good un ! its more so when its under heavy load as opposed to a light load ! also on a different note ! the ignition light flickers on and off not glowing but on and off light a slight short ! and intermittently not starting off the key ! not turning over that is unless its left for a good half hour then its fine ! im thinking its a short in the alternator anyone had this before ??????
