Mondeo95 Registered User Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 1	Overheating Mondeo I have a 95 ford mondeo hatch. The car is over heating. Once the engine temperature rises beyond the normal operating temperature, the engine begins to detonate or ping. The thermostat has been removed. I have removed the water pump & checked it & it is all ok. The radiator has had some work done not to long ago (replaced core). I'm not sure what the problem could be, would anyone out there have any clue?
