Serious Ford Mondeo problem.

Hello. I have an 1997 Mondeo 1.8 16v Zetec.
It has the folowing problem.
I turn the ignition key on, the lights come on, the red light from the clock lights up for about 5 sec and then turns itself off indicating from what i know that it has read the key (immobilizer cip). When i turn the key even further nothing happens.
I cecked the fuse box and discovered that the ignition comand reaches the relay but it does not have a negative signal. I discovered the negative wire goes straight to the ECU. If i poot a negative wire there the engine turns when i turn the key but it does not have electricity gowing to the sparkplugs. Sorry for my bad tiping but i am not used to right in english.
So...for some reason the ECU imobilized the car.
When the ignition is on i can hear the injection pump in the back working but the ecu does not leet the engine turn and also it does not give electricity to the sparkplugs.

Re: Serious Ford Mondeo problem.

mine has that symptoms yesturday, I hit the brake and move the auto gear stick back and front, and then it's normal now. I think the gear sensor has a little out of displacement.
