Looking for some help and look forward reading the threads.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.

I have a `97 mondeo 1.8 LX. Both my speedomoter and fuel gauge failed this morning whilst driving and need to find out what caused this. The fuel warning light has been coming on over the last week for a few seconds after about 5 mins of driving even thought there is a full tank, and now the gague has failed. I was wondering if this is linked seeing that the rev counter and temp gague wroks fine.
