Squeaky seat..

Hello all, just bought a used Mondeo mk3, and the passenger seat makes a squeak/rattle when I'm moving, but only when there's no-one in it.
Just wondered if anyone else had this, seat seems ok it's just annoying ......

Cheers,

Kwozzii

Cool.Is it a good car Kwoozii. Do you like it.

I guess the seat must have a loose fitting somewhere or maybe some lube is needed on the adjustment mechanism.

Yeah it's great, only had it 4 days and already feel at home when driving it...goes a treat aswell, which was nice.
Only one slight problem, the clock keeps stopping so I have to reset it every time I get in, dunno what thats all about....

Faulty seatbelt buckles can give this concern, try putting the belt in when the seat's unoccupied and see if the noise goes.
