steering fluid leak - Ford Forums

Hi,
ive got a 98 mk2 mondeo. Its leaking steering fluid but i cant see where its coming from. ive had it up on a lift with a mech and we couldnt find it. Rack and pump seem ok. Any one else had a similar prob? I will have to get the sub frame off to really get in there to find it i think

On my fathers 1997 it was the fluid-cooler next to the automatic transmisson cooler that leaked steering fluid.

It's troublesome to replace if the bumper mounts are rusty... they always are here in Denmark due to salt on the roads.
