My son's 95 4cyl Auto Contour burped out the fluid in the overflow tank. I replaced the thermostat and wanted to add fluid. How do I fill the radiator as I do not see a cap. I have never seen a car without some way to bleed the system of air or to fill the radiator before filling the expansion tank. It runs fine, no water in the oil, smoke, etc. The water in the tank gets hot when the engine is running.

I don't know about this make and model, but a co-worker has a jeep cherokee that has no radiator cap. It is only filled through the over flow tank. Screwy, huh?

Boy, I wish I knew what went wrong with the earlier post. Just screwy. But the link works to take you to the Autozone website to learn about the contour radiator and how to flush/refill it.

Thanks, Unfortunately I resolved the problem. It was the head gasket. $$$
