windscreen washers

can anyone help me? i've recently bought a '99 mondeo but the front windscreen washers have just stopped working. it seems as if the pipes have become disconnected somehow and i'm wondering how I would get at them to check.

I would think that they are more likely to be clogged with crap.

Get someone to activate the washers while you check under the bonnet to see if you can spot any leaks or disconnections.

Thumbs up

Had exactly the same problem with mine, here's what I did:got the car on some ramps, took off the front part of the underbody anti-splash thing,,and the water bottle is in font of the right wheel.
On the bottom of the pump are 2 (if it's a hatch) 'L' shaped rubber bits,1 end on the pump with the washer pipe going into the top.
Bought a new one of those - £1.07 from Ford dealer - sorted me out.You HAVE TO make sure you push all the tubes on REALLY tight coz apparently it's a common fault with them.
HTH.
