Do these cars really need a 4 inch exhaust??
I always thought a 3 inch mandrel exhaust with good mufflers would be good to flow 600hp!
That being the case, going 4 inch would be just talking rights, and or different sound .....yes????
A back to back dyno run would sort this out though.

Mate, a single 3 inch wouldnt flow any better than my twin 2.25 system. I have changed the cat to a 4 inch bodied stellite version, and over 300 rwkw on the dyno at 16psi, the exhaust is choking it!
The only options are a 3.5 or 4 inch single to get her consistantly over 300rwkw.

Single 4 flows good air and sounds great. Turbo cars making the power that we are with the displacement that ours do need alot of flow in the exhaust

I'd be curious to see what back pressure runs in a 3" system.
I would of thought 3 inch to flow 300rwkw easily.
Might have to think about changing mine if this is the case!!
