Me too,i went for a quick run with simon down to the fuel station to top up for tomorrows dyno and well,IT IS FKUN AWSOME.

They are definately THE weapon on the street now,no doubt.

Just injectors and an XTREME tune has made this car in a league of its own .

Re: Exploring the FPV's New Beast The Typhoon

These are great results, and no doubt the Typhoon has huge potential. The question is, why the hell havent FPV done it? At the VERY least the Typhoon should be a little quicker than the XR6T. I really dont want to buy a brand new car, then blow my warranty modifying it. You just shouldnt HAVE to! The friggin thing should be fast from the showroom floor, and it simply isnt. If they have deliberately knobbled the Typhoon to protect the GT's place at the top of the FPV range then they deserve to be shot. Surely the target for FPV should be HSV. What these minor modifications have acheived shows the Typhoon had the potential to be faster than ANYTHING HSV has turned out, but FPV have stuffed it! Surely the proper approach would be to make the Typhoon live up to it's potential, then bring the GT's performance up to be better than that, not hold back the Typhoon and just let HSV walk off with all the figures! I know there is more to a performance car than 1/4 mile times, but when it comes to bragging rights its a hell of a lot easier to say "13.7 seconds KILLS 14.6" than it is to say "yeah but my car has a better ride/handling package" The letter "P" in FPV is supposed to stand for "PERFORMANCE" - the Typhoon should PERFORM and obviously it CAN perform, so why dont FPV let it?

That's good going... well done.

Ok, how long till dump gets fitted to this car ( if it does ) ? just curious.. not from power perspective, just a response comparison...

Would a bigger pump be of much benefit?? I'm just sourcing parts at the mo, so needing to know what I need to get for the 330/340 rwkw mark..

Cheers and Thanks for the efforts...
