Re: Post your Dyno Graphs!!!

Can anyone tell me why a lot of people are running up 6T dyno graphs in shootout 8 mode instead of the usual shootout 6?

Hi Simon, this is mine, have only added thermostat since. What sort of average gain do you think I would get with edit, I know it will run better, smoother etc. thanks Stropp

Most cases in a N/A car like a GT or a XR8 you will see some nice gains around 20 to 30 rwkw. I did a Very nice stock series II GT a couple of days ago, It was the most powerful Boss in stock trim i have ever seen, it was amazing, 240 RWKW stock, it had PERFECT A/F ratio on the first pull and then on the second pull dropped into the 11's and in turn dropped 12 rwkw's to 228. I tuned it and ended up with a consistant 259 to 258 rwkw 3 pulls in a row.

I have NEVER seen a STOCK make that sort of power. The thing had 1000 kms on the clock. You do see these occational freeks out there but. But the gains in my opinion where modest compared to what i normaly get as i took the highest figure as my bench mark to work off for my comparison, instead of the lower one. Still the torque was ALOT better and the car drove Noticably better.

Hope that helps

Here's my graph, a little work to go on with but a nice starting point, got a 2" exhaust atm so that's next on the list.
