If i remember right, The boost tapering off was a result of a lot of pressure building up in the fuel pump, possibly cause the injectors couldnt pump it out quick enough?

Is it normal for this to happen?

To be honest, i havent even touched or tried the 8psi program in the Capa box. If surging is an issue, do you think it would be an advantage to instead of re-gapping the existing plugs, changing them to a 3 or 4 electrode Bosch plug for a much wider spark?

I would be very hesitant to try any new plugs unless you have it on good authority that the ones you are talking about have been tried and tested.

Gapping is all im doing at this stage.

10 psi and was custom and i thought it was on the lean side also

Yer i certainly wouldnt like to see them run that lean.

I preffer the 11.5 to 11.8 region, but thats just me.

just from learnig from these forums what you are saying is right
injectors are next so that should fix this problems
