Hey Dannopower,

We have tuned several T6's so far. Simons guidelines on the 10 and 12psi programs make them unbelieveable creatures.

They make me want to trade the XR8........

I would recommend several changes if the budget allows, at the very least a basic CAI and 4" inlet pipe which will help the car breath.

With the CAI and inlet pipe, you would expect to see around 8-12 rwkw on a dyno dynamics shootout dyno. With the edit on top of this, usually a further 15-20. So a 290 manual live axle seeing 210-215 stock, will usually see around 245-255 with some basic air inlet mods.(and a properly tuned edit.)

Having said this, the power figures do differ vehicle to vehicle, and it is important to note a few things, the main one being that especially with the Boss engines, a peak RWKW figure will not always be the fastest on the road/track. This is something simon noticed early, and whilst we dont squeeze the lemon dry rwkw wise, the results on the strip are guaranteed.

This has been cause of some discussion on many forums, and the only way to move a car is from torque. This is where we concentrate.

Hope this helps, PS love the avatar, im a big simmo's fan

Thanks Alot mate, After having a Look around, When the Old man get's Edit and a few other little things done, i will be strongly pushing him your way, but it isn't all my decition either, thanks for taking the time to give some Advice

The Ute will Probably have a Cats Back Exhaust and maybe some Intake Mods Done when it gets Edit done, can you fit the Intake and CAI that you Mentioned, if so how many $$$ would he be looking at?

Re: Victorian Tuner

We can arrange demonstration of our setups on your fathers vehicle for him to try first, and select one that suits his driving style and budget.
