whos put CAPA in their XR6(non Turbo) - Ford Forums

Just woundering if anybody has put a CAPA flash tuner in their XR6 and what kind of gains did you make?
Also do you have to put an 2 1/2 inch exhaust on the car to get gains with the CAPA flash tuner?

Mate, car comes with twin 2 1/2" exhaust.. No need to upgrade.

Actually im pretty sure the XR6 (non-turbo) only comes with a single 2.5" exhaust.

It has the same oval tip as the twin pipes but where the other pipe would be is simply a blanking plate at the rear of the tip.

Im doing some stuff with a N/A 6 falcon atm... Its a bit of a proccess to go through and weazle out what works and what doesnt. From the just the edit you should be getting a min of 10 to 15 rwkw's with alot mroe drivability on your car at part throttle ect.

Does sound good though i'm sure it will work better with zorst, CAI etc.

Anyone had it done on the na yet?

didnt realize that they come stock with 2 1/2. So what less restrictive exhausts are people putting on there n/a XR6s to gain extra power??

Cheers heef101, 10-15rwkw sounds good, but now im thinking $1800 for edit, tune+ $900+ for zorst, might as well get the turbo.

1695 for edit and box.... But your right.. the Turbo is the way i would go.

Yeah would love a turbo..........am trying to keep the na XR6 for the next 10-15 years as our family car. Would love to do a bit of work to it but.
CAI, exhaust, edit etc. so i can get the best (from what i've got) and help with fuel consumption and stuff.

Can't wait till u have finished sussing out the box tune with the NA's Simon.
