Hi guys,

Finally got my transmission fixed and took the ute down the track again.
The day was too hot- 40 Degrees C, but I have been watching everyone else here having fun for so long that I had to take the first opportunity with no rain.
My best run was a new PB.

I was pretty happy with the timeslip for a 260 auto ute in that heat. Roll on winter.

Better times ahead on a cool day if I can get my head around the launch.

Went back to WSID last night for another lash and got a new PB.
Did three 13.1's and two low 13.2's.

New PB 13.114 @ 106.97mph 2.010 60'.

Man are I happy with the heavy auto 260 ute.

Can't wait for the winter weather.

Good work Chris, a 12 second timeslip is sooo close, especially at that mph. Sounds like the weather was pretty good at WSID last night...

What do you reckon you can do to drop your 60' a bit? What tyres and converter are you running at the moment?

Dunno what I need to do to get the 60' down, more practice, tyre pressure, Revs, I guess. I did 5 passes and the 60's varied from 2.01 to 2.06. I was pretty happy with the spread compared to the week before where they were all over the place. This is only the second real week of racing for me since having problems with the tranny. I have a 2800-3000 convertor (not exactly sure) and M/T ET Streets.
The current configuration of the ute is all pretty new for me to race and I was only a novice to start with, LoL, so I am very happy with the way it's going.

Thats pretty awesome then, just need a bit more time at the track. These X-Factored/Bluepowered BA XR8's are impressive to say the least... :)
