Xr8 Clutch Issues - Ford Forums

hi guys ive got an BA xr8, its got 280 rwkw running nos. the stanard clutch died so weve got an xtreme clutch. the clutch is great dseont slipe bits well but its now no releasing the clutch untill the last 10 % of the pedal i spoke to the guys that put it in an they said to re bleed because it may have air, im not convinsed i was worryed it may be on the way out ???????? they dont seem to think so

nah mate not worn out guarantee.....1st thing id do is bleed it out again...

aight thanks for that ill give that a go and see how it is, are the xtreme clutchs a pretty good thing i was told they were wen i purchased one.

sorry guys i wored my description of the problem i ment the clutch was not bitting until the last 10% of the clutch pedal being released so basicly my knees are at the steering wheel as it takes up dose this mean it could be gone ???

no means the height need to be readjusted..bleeding it will curtinly sort alot of it out....bleed and see how u go.
