i am new member on this forum, some of you might recognise my user name from the xr6 forum.
neways i thought i would also post this topic here too.
Last friday, went down to the plex with simon from Xtreme Ford Tuning and got only one run with the car with an 11.9@116.88 MPH. Had traction and fuel surge problem, but still managed an 11.
hopefully by this friday we will get the fuel problem sorted and head back to the plex.. with street tyres and slicks, to see the diffrence.
for those of you who dont know wat sort of power i am running, i have 326.5rwkw's and over 960 of torque.
any comment of wat time you guys think i might get if everything works as planed??

p.s By the way the car is an Auto.
Was it the tune up or bolt ons that gave you that power? Presumably its a turbo?
With that sore of power i'd be looking for low 10's.

Welcome Muzza and congrats on the time.
Sounds like you have a real beast there. With that much torque you must have upgraded your automatic Transmission. Is this car your daily driver as well?
cheers
Peter

yers well if i didnt have to lift of the throttle twice cos of fuel starvation and if we bothered to put slick s ect on maybe.. this is an 84000 kms old street car after all not a race car.
thats a fantastic effort- well done. when are you heading back and how do you get around the issue with fuel starvation? bigger injectors, higher flow pump?
