hey can anyone tell me if a sct flasher will work in a ba xrt auto . just wondering will the ob11 plug fit if it does what is the part number and how much ? will i need to get a blank flasher and get tunes uploaded here in aust? as a mate of mine is going over to states in couple of weeks. any help would be great

The CAPA flash tuner is an SCT flasher developed for the Aussie cars and sold through CAPA.

I'm not sure if that helps answer your question but these are readily available from various outlets and are all set to plug in and retune your car.

I am aware that the flash tuner is available from capa and co.The only reason i was thinking of taking this path is for the cost. As i am pretty sure it would be cheaper than $950 .If this is to hard to organise i will just settle for a pre owned unit which go from anywhere from 500-650.

The american versions have different software to our flashers although the unit is the same.
If you buy a 2nd hand aussie unit it will have to go back to CAPA to have it unlocked so it will now work on your car, and I think doing this will wipe out any tunes that may be in the box allready, so then you will have to get it tuned.
