I considered the Sports Package but I wanted a White Suede and I don't think the Sports Package was available in that color. I didn't much like the style of the spoiler with the Sports Package but I did like the 18" wheels.

I just purchased an '09 Fusion SE with the Sport Appearance package and the I4 motor. I wasn't looking for a lot of power (and sure enough, wasn't terribly disappointed: but am very pleased with the overall handling, comfort and good feeling of the car. The I4 is sufficient and fairly economical. The SYNCH feature is really fun. What's most impressive is the suspension. Minimal body lean or roll on curves, plus a nice "planted" feeling whatever the surface. I got the tuxedo black with the metallic paint, the 18'' wheels and the combo looks as good as anything on the road. For the price, $23,050, minus $4,000 rebates, I doubt if there is anything out that that can really exceed that kind of value!
