Drive By Wire

Just posting up if any one is tired of thier drive by wire hesitation, just give us an email. We can help eliminate 98% of it and give you better econonmy and power to boot.

Here is a little info on drive by wire...

Drive By Wire - improvements will be much better throttle response, step on go pedal, it go's...this DBW system is a torque driven system, it works by taking a certain amount of torque via engine and wheel and applies it to what the driver foot say it needs....a better way to explain it is its a torque limiter....it only allows so much torque at a given pedal position. Stock tables are conservative.....and that's why one would feel some times a lag or a goofy pedal....with DBW systems

Electronic throttle control (ETC) is an automobile technology which severs the mechanical link between the accelerator pedal and the throttle. Most automobiles already use a throttle position sensor (TPS) to provide input to traction control, antilock brakes, fuel injection, and other systems, but use a bowden cable to directly connect the pedal with the throttle. An ETC-equipped vehicle has no such cable. Instead, the electronic control unit (ECU) determines the required throttle position by calculations from data measured by other sensors such as an accelerator pedal position sensor, engine speed sensor, vehicle speed sensor etc. The electric motor within the ETC is then driven to the required position via a closed-loop control algorithm within the ECU

I have a 2005 f-150 with a 5.4. Vehicle has about a 2 sec. delay in acceleration after moving forward. Dealership does not have a clue. no codes.I have put on a hypertec reprogrammer, and a K&N cold air intake
filter. what is your repair to eliminate 98% of this problem?
