Indiana-Fusion Registered User Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Indiana Posts: 3	Engine Break In Time??? Is there such a thing as a break in time for these cars? I am going out of state this week, but I don't want to drive my new car if it will hurt the motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use a mineral based oil for the first 2 oil changes or 10000 miles then you can go to a synthetic oil.
