One of my uncles bought a Chrsyler 300C recently with the factory nav system ($3K with uprated stereo!), and he said it took him over two hours to learn the features on it, and about 15min to program in a destination. Not too bad I suppose. I can plug in my Garmin, plot my destination, and stick it to the window in under five minutes. The only downside is wires running around and you lose some visibility with it on the window.
My nav system, Audiophile system works very well while driving if you know what the verbal commands are. That's part of the learning process I was talking about. I've already learned how to switch from the satellite radio to the CD or any of the am/fm programs. This is going to be a real challenge but fun.

Re: ford fusion(good car)?

A neighbour of mine bought a Lexus LS460 with the nav package. His only quibble is that the nav system won't allow you to change your directions while in motion. Theres no nav system on the market that's 100% up to date and accurate which is a peeve of mine. I always get a good laugh when I see someone driving alone, and talking! At least the tinted windows help! ha

Re: ford fusion(good car)?

I added my address into the nav system and the map position indicator is 1 block away from where I actually live. I wonder if that will ever be corrected.
