Does anyone know where there is a dyno test of the 2.3L engine in the Fusion ? The mazda6i 2.3 uses a better looking exhaust manifold and has dual exhaust. How does ford claim to have the same power output and slighty higher torque 156ft.lbs versus mazda 155ft.lbs ?

The exhaust manifold on the 2.3 fusion is a cast unit with a catalytic convertor welded directly to it. The mazda6i 2.3 exhaust manifold is a stainless tube assembly and looks like it would flow better and provide a toque boost at some rpm due to the length of the tubes.

I'm sure Fords ratings are right. All automakers have the same test you know. I've heard it's a noisy engine......
