Fusion Door Combo

I have a 2013 Fusion that I bought used from Hertz Car Sales. It came with the owners manual along with a bunch of other booklets and cards that were in the glovebox. I read on-line that the door code was either on a sticker under the dash and/or printed on the manual or some card within the manual. Does anybody know where I might find this code? The Ford dealer seems to want $$$ for giving up any info.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Fusion Door Combo

Surely if the vehicle was purchased from the dealership then they should provide the card or the code from the computer FOC ?

I bought it from Hertz Car Sales. They're clueless on this matter.

Re: Fusion Door Combo

It was on a plastic card the size of a credit card with all the paperwork when it was new. The rental place probably took it out to prevent customers from getting in the car later. Yes the dealer will want $$ to get the code out of the computer. It's a necessary evil to pay the tech and buy equipment.

Should have insisted they sorted it out and supplied card or code before finalising the deal .Under the circumstances , cant expect dealership to do it for free .

I didn't realize it had door code entry until days after I got the car home or I would have.

Looks like you will have to bite the bullet and cough up the dough if Hertz wont help out .

I found the card in a large manila envelope in the glovebox.
