Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max - OE for 2010 Ford Fusion

Latest HeadlinesGoodyear tires OE for Ford Fusion Tire Business staff report

AKRON (July 24, 2009) — Goodyear’s Assurance Fuel Max all-season tire will be the OE tire fitment for the 2010 Ford Fusion S.
The Fusion S, a mid-size sedan with 6-speed transmission and a 2.5-liter engine, will be fitted with Goodyear’s new fuel-efficient tire in size P205/60R16.

The Akron-based tire maker said the Assurance Fuel Max is designed using a fuel-saving tread compound that helps to reduce energy loss as it rolls. In addition to its OE fitment on the Fusion S, the tire is available in replacement sizes for many other popular vehicles.

Re: Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max - OE for 2010 Ford Fusion

About time. Tire should be categorized & tested for fuel economy.

To think all this time that my mud terrain tires are said not to be entirely fuel efficient on my truck, HA, what do they know!

Good read!
