If the white socket is on the right, black on the left, the correct
(1157) bulbs have been installed properly and the brake light switch is
opening as it should, then the bulb integrity sensor is the likely
culprit. There should be no relay clicking when you step on the brake.
You're likely hearing a noisy cruise control safety switch.
