The new Volvo V50 will cost from £17,363 when it goes on sale next month. That's for the 1.8S, and in addition a 2.0-litre diesel, plus a 2.4 and T5 petrol will also be offered. The range-topping T5 AWD will be priced at £25,963.
The 2.0 D SE (right) costs £20,863, which is £3,832 less than Audi's equivalent A4 Avant. All V50s get climate control, electric windows and a host of safety features.
