I downloaded Free Agent and used it for a while but decided to stick with
OE. I did not set FA as the default email client - it asked, and I said
"no". However...
Now, whenever I try to click an email link from a webpage or NG posting, I
get "default email client not correctly installed".
I know there is an easy way to rectify this, cos I've done it in the past,
but I can't find it now. OE is set as the default email prog in Internet
Options.
Anyone know the answer?

yeah, ditch OE and use something less religious.
sorry, no, I don't know how you reset it. Unless you've got a system
restore point?
I've actually tried quite a number of news/mail clients and TBH I still
prefer Agent, although I grant that if I'd not got so hooked on it and found
T-bird first, I'd probably stick with that.

Right Click on IE Icon on desktop then click on the properties tab.
You can select whatever program from the lists.
Hope this helps.
