guys i want a 98-2000 V8-auto 7 seat model, what problems should i look for when i go hunting for one

nitroman - test drive the TD5 , this works far better in the Disco than the 3.9 , I had four Rangies with that engine and two diesel Discos , the 3.9 is reasonably reliable but fuel consumption is way over the top , I don't think I ever got below 15 litres per 100km , and cruising at above 125kmh (I lived in the NT for 15 years) consumption was above 20 litres per 100km.
Off road they are a great vehicle , almost as good as the Defender .
