Hoping someone in the group maybe able to offer some advise to a problem on
the above has just developed.
This problem seems to have come in immediately after a short (3km) session
offroad in low range(unlocked) to walk slowly up a heavily rutted steep
track. Traction control was coming in and out for short periods as needed.
The problem is the engine will not rev right out to max RPM and is way down
on power. On the road normally it will run to a bit over 100 kmh in 4th
gear, after the low range stint am battling to get it to 80kmh in 4th gear,
100 kmh in 5th gear down a slight grade is as flat as a tack.
It has absolutely no power in the upper rev range. Have just towed a boat
1tonne from Nth Queensland back to Brisbane and battled to hold 90 kmh on
the flat and dies to 60-70kmh when pointed at a hill but here is the twist
at 60-70 kmh under load it really pulls and hangs on at that speed. If you
drop back to 4th gear speed drops to about 50 kmh instantly and will then
start to pull strong again.
As this came on immediately after using low range is it possible that it is
something to do with the 2 mode accelerator action and be stuch in the low
range mode.
Has anyone experienced similar problems or offer any advise.
Your help is appreciated.

Replace the fuel filter - it's quite likely partially blocked from
stirring all the crap off the bottom of the tank whilst bouncing around
off road.
