I am a foolish boy, for today I went and looked at a 101. So do I chop in
the series three, spend oodles more than i really should on a toy and get
the big beast.

I've lusted from afar since i was too young to drive, and now i could
reallyown one, with only minimal risk of divorce or bankruptcy....

Do I go for it?

Bankruptcy only last for a year these days, 101s last forever.

Divorce is only necessary if she doesn't like 101s, in which case,
give her the house, other cars, bank accounts - keep the dog and 101.
(actually, don't give her all the bank accounts, you'll need a few...)

Ok, I've done a deal subject to final inspection and test drive....

Guess I need some advice on this pretty quick. What to look at, what to
prod and poke, what can be sorted, and what should make me run for the
hills?

What is it about the sound of a V8 that makes grown men into fools?

Look for a straight frame - some of 101's were dropped from Hercules
transports with and withOUT parachutes....

Practically all you need to know is on Al's site - the rest is in the
club magazine "Six Stud", but you only get that- and access to the
