Hi
Can anyone point me in the direction of an insurer who will cover a 1993
3.9v8i disco converted to lpg who doesnt insist on thatcham approved alarm
and immobiliser Apparently none of the OE stuff could be approved until 1994
as thats when thatcham started approving alarms (according to large uk
insurer) To get alarm fitted can be 30% of the value of the car :-(
Currently with NIG but prices getting too high

NFU insurance is pretty wank TBH. I can't take my lad in the truck
'cos NFU wont insure truck passengers.

I've not got my LPG vehicle yet but my usual insurance broker (local
bloke) made mention of a 10 or 15% discount for LPG converted
vehicles.
