Miniman Guest Posts: n/a	Re: improving ease of clutch Hi it sounds to me more like the clutch pressure plate is at fault. I have had the same on my Renault 19 D. The clutch was getting heavyer and heavyer till one day it snapped the cable. So I fitted a new cable and then 3 months later SNAP. I took the pressure plate out and fit a new one then hey presto. Once again a light clutch. I f you are going to change the pressure plate you also may aswell change the clutch as its out to change the pressure plate.
